MILPITAS. Zollner Electronics, Inc. in cooperation with the Deggendorf Institute of Technology or Technische Hochschule Deggendorf, Germany successfully hosted its first Annual Joint-Technology 2016 Validation Workshop. The seminar was designed for students and would-be entrepreneurs who are interested in starting a new venture or are currently working to expand their existing start-up projects.

The practicum session intends to share the experience from Zollner’s design, development, manufacturing and supply chain experience. Getting from an idea to a fulfilled product is challenging and Zollner has huge experience and resources to help startups get there as fast as possible. Having the right metrics and know-how for conducting the Technology Validation on a concept or product minimize or eliminate the risk and in some cases can be the difference between success and failure.

The 3-day Workshop was held on the 26th, 28th and 30th of September, 2016 at the Zollner Gateway facility in the Silicon Valley and was conducted in a classroom environment. The workshop sessions were taught by experts in their fields and the students were provided with line tour at the Zollner plant facility in Silicon Valley, California, guided by Stephan Weiss, General Manager of E6-Milpitas Plant. The students and delegates had the opportunity to speak with distinguished guest venture capitalists and subject matter experts in the technology space.

The lecture on Technology Validation and workshop sessions were co-chaired and by Dr. Rolf Rascher Professor from the Deggendorf Institute of Technology and Dr. Michael Manansala , VP of Technology at Zollner E6-Americas.
