Zollner becomes a member of the Costa Rica Aerospace Cluster

As part of the strategically oriented goal for expansion of aerospace activities in the Americas, Zollner joined the Costa Rica Aerospace Cluster in June. The goal of this partnership is to establish a tight network of local aerospace companies in Costa Rica with Zollner and exchange information on related technical topics. With official acceptance into the Aerospace Cluster, Zollner also has the opportunity of visiting current member companies and begin to understand sector activities. Current membership to the local cluster is at more than 22 member companies from the Aerospace sector and various technological areas.

Zollner is striving for certification of the Cartago site according to the EN 9100 aerospace standard. With this we want to enable our Costa Rican plant for the production of electronic assemblies for aerospace applications, thus offering our customers and stakeholders a “Best-Cost Solution” in the realm of Aerospace technology for the American market. The portfolio will include electronic assemblies, devices and systems.

For more than ten years now, Zollner has been supplying the industries that directly supply the Aerospace and Defense sector with avionics products, such as cockpit electronics, cabin lighting and flight sensor technology.
