Initial certification in DIN EN 9100 represents a fundamental step toward being considered by governmental Chinese companies for the serial production of civilian jumbo jets, like the COMAC 919. Zollner has been very actively attracting customers in this country since May of last year.
Preparations for the audit started at the end of July, 2019. The audit was originally planned for the beginning of March 2020 but was postponed due to the corona crisis.
