Zollner Young Professionals Win Bronze at EuroSkills 2025 in Herning

The two young talents Andreas Mandl (apprentice) and Fabian Obermeier (dual student) won the bronze medal in the discipline “Robot Systems Integration” at EuroSkills 2025, which took place from September 9 to 13 in Herning, Denmark.
They were supported on their journey by Markus Wagner, who, as a technical mentor, played a decisive role in their success.

The Robot Systems Integration competition involves much more than programming individual robots: it is about the holistic integration of robots into industrial processes – from planning and programming to commissioning.
The discipline combines mechanics, electronics, control technology, and software to create intelligently networked systems for automated manufacturing solutions.

This field is not only of central importance at EuroSkills but also plays a key role in the industrial environment of Industry 4.0 and modern mechatronics. In this competition, young professionals demonstrate their ability to plan, build, and commission complex robotic solutions.

Prior to this, the participants qualified through the German Championship in Robot Systems Integration, which is held annually and underscores the practice-oriented training and technological leadership of companies such as Zollner.

With their outstanding performance, Andreas Mandl and Fabian Obermeier have not only proven technical expertise and team spirit but have also made Zollner’s technological competence visible on an international level.
